Breakfast Cup

This tasty recipe involves eating your breakfast from a cup. The layers of grits, scrambled, poached egg, and sausage will keep full for a good part of the day. You can eat your breakfast cup while watching TV, reading the newspaper, or sitting on the bed. It is convenient to eat, as you do not need a plate.
Ingredients
Grits:
- 1/2 cup of grits
- 2 cups of water
- Salt
- Half-and-half
- 1 tbsp of butter
Scrambled Eggs
- 2 eggs
- 1 tbsp of sour cream
- Salt
- Black pepper
- 2 tbsp of water
Poached Eggs:
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp of vinegar
- Cheese (grated)
- Salt
- Parsley leaves (chopped)
- Crumbled Sausage:
- 1 pound of sausage
Preparation
- Add salt to 2 cups of water and bring it to a boil.
- Add 1/2 cup of grits, stir, lower heat, and bring it to boil.
- Place butter and stir.
- Lower heat and cook it for about 4 minutes.
- Stir in half in half and cook for about 30 minutes.
- Place a pan over medium-high heat.
- Crack eggs in a bowl.
- Add pepper, water, 1 tbsp sour cream, and salt.
- Melt butter in the pan, add egg mixture, and scramble with a rubber spatula.
- In a pot, add salt, 1 tbsp of water, and 1 tbsp of vinegar.
- Swirl the water to crack the egg into the center and cook for 3 minutes.
- Drain the water.
- Make the crumbled sausage by following the instructions given on the packet.
- Add the grits, sausage, scrambled eggs, and poached egg in the mug.
- Garnish with cheese, parsley on the top, and serve.
Pizza For Breakfast

You probably did not think that you could eat pizza for breakfast. You wanted to, but you could not, as it is strictly to be eaten for dinner. This recipe puts a twist on your favorite fast food by adding food you would normally eat for breakfast into a pizza.
Ingredients
- 4 eggs
- 1/4 cup of milk
- Salt
- black pepper
- 1 jar of roasted red peppers, diced and cut into 3-inch strips
- 1 tbsp of butter
- 2 breakfast sausage (1/2 thick slices)
- 4 English muffins (toasted and whole wheat)
- 1/4 cup of tomato sauce
- 1/2 cup white Cheddar (shredded)
Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Place a pan over medium low heat.
- In a bowl, place the eggs and beat them with a fork.
- Add pepper, salt, milk, and mix to combine.
- Melt butter in the pan, and then add the eggs.
- Use a rubber spatula to stir the eggs.
- Add peppers to the egg when it is halfway done.
- On a sheet pan, put the English muffins.
- Spread 1 tbsp of tomato sauce on the baked English muffins.
- Place 2 tbsp of cheddar on top of each muffin.
- Add sausage and pepper on top of it.
- Bake for 4 minutes.
- Allow it to cool slightly and serve.
Breakfast Date Smoothie

This delicious and healthy smoothie is for people who need to rush out of the house in the morning. It is easy to prepare and you can make it the day before. Make large quantities of the smoothie to put it in the fridge.
Ingredients
- 1 glass of ice cubes
- 4 oz. of regular soy milk
- 2 tbsp of wheat flakes
- 1 tbsp of sunflower seeds
- 1 tbsp of raisins
- 2 dates (chopped and pitted)
- 2 tsp of honey
Preparation
- In the blender, place 1/2 of the ice.
- Add 1/2 of cereal, soy milk, raisins, dates, cereal, and seeds into it, and blend.
- Add the rest of the ice, soy milk, and honey.
- Blend one more time.
- Pour it in glass and serve it with a straw.
Danish Egg And Cheese

Ingredients
- 8 oz. of cream cheese
- 1/3 cup of sugar
- 2 egg yolks
- 2 tbsp of ricotta cheese
- 1 tsp of vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp of salt (kosher)
- 1 tbsp of lemon zest (grated)
- 2 sheets of frozen puff pastry
Egg Mixture:
- 1 tbsp of water
- 1 egg
Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Use parchment paper to line a baking sheet.
- Combine the sugar and cream cheese in an electric mixer.
- Combine them together on low speed.
- Add the egg yolks, salt, vanilla, ricotta, and lemon zest to the mixer bowl while it is turned on.
- Flour the board and place a sheet of puff pastry on it.
- Use a rolling pin to roll into 10 X 10-inch squares.
- Use a serrated knife to cut the sheet.
- Place 1 tbsp of cheese filling into the center of each square.
- Use a brush to baste the border of the pastry with egg mixture.
- Fold opposite corners of the pastry, bringing them to the middle.
- Brush the top part of the pastries with the egg mixture to stick them together.
- Place them on a baking pan.
- Repeat the same process for the remaining puff pastry.
- Place it in the fridge for about 15 minutes.
- Bake the pastries in the oven for 20 minutes, rotating the pan only once.
- Serve warm.
Breakfast Skewers Of Italy

Ingredients
- 8 skewers
- 1 can of pineapple (cubed)
- 1/2 pound of sweet Italian sausage (sliced into 2-inch pieces)
- 1/4 pound of pancetta (cubed)
- 1 red pepper (cored and sliced into 1-inch squares)
Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Place two sets of sausage, red pepper, pancetta, and 1/2 cup of pineapple on each skewer.
- Place the pancetta on the baking sheet and bake for 25 minutes.
- Serve warm.
Strawberry Shortcake Inspired French Toast

Ingredients
- 1 tsp of lemon zest (grated)
- 3 tbsp of sugar
- 3 cups of strawberries (halved)
- 1 egg
- 4 English muffins (split and soaked)
- Yogurt
- Strawberries
- Honey
Preparation
- Combine 1 tsp of lemon zest with 3 tbsp of sugar in a bowl.
- Mix them together and combine a third of the sugar mixture with the 3 cups of sliced strawberries
- Make the egg mixture for French toast.
- Soak 4 English muffins in the mixture.
- Fry them for about 5 minutes in a skillet with oil.
- Decorate it with yogurt, honey, and strawberries.
- Serve with syrup.
