Ingredients
- 1/4 cup of hoisin sauce
- 1/2 tsp of five-spice powder
- 3 tbsp of ketchup
- 2 tsp of fresh ginger (grated and peeled)
- 2 tsp of garlic (minced)
- 1/4 cup of lower-sodium soy sauce
- 1 to 2-pound pork shoulder (Boston butt, boneless, and trimmed)
- 3 tbsp of honey
- 1/2 cup of fat-free and lower-sodium chicken broth
- 1 tsp of sesame oil (dark)
Preparation
- Place soy sauce, hoisin sauce, ketchup, honey, garlic, five-spice powder, sesame oil, and ginger into a bowl and whisk them together.
- Pour them into a zip-loc bag. Place the pork in it and leave it in the fridge for about 2 hours.
- Put the pork along with the marinade in an electric slow cooker. Cover it and cook it on low for about 8 hours.
- Use a slotted spoon to remove the pork from the slow cooker and place it on a cutting board. Place a cover over the pork to keep it warm.
- Pour broth to the marinade in the slow cooker. Cover it and cook it on low for about 30 minutes.
- Use 2 forks to shred the pork.
- Drench the pork with sauce and serve it warm.

- 3 tbsp of all-purpose flour

Preparation
- Combine onion, olives, lemon juice, tomato, garlic, seasoning mix, salt, ground pepper, and turkey in an electric slow cooker.
- Add 1/4 chicken broth, cover it, and cook it for 7 hours.
- In a small bowl, pour 1/4 cup chicken broth, flour, and stir, until fully combined.
- Add the broth and flour mixture into a slow cooker.
- Cover and cook it on low for 30 minutes.
- Slice the turkey into slices and serve.
Osso Buco With Gremolata

Ingredients
Osso Buco:
- 2/3 cup of all-purpose flour
- 3/4 tsp of freshly ground black pepper (divided)
- 1/2 of tsp kosher salt (divided)
- 5 pounds of veal shanks (trimmed)
- 2 tsp of butter (divided)
- 2 tsp of olive oil (divided)
- 2 cups of red onion (chopped)
- 1 1/2 cups of celery (chopped)
- 6 garlic cloves (minced)
- 4 cups of beef broth
- 2 cups of dry white wine
- 1 tbsp of fresh rosemary (chopped)
- 1 tbsp of anchovy paste
Gremolata:
- 1/2 cup of fresh parsley (chopped)
- 1 tbsp of lemon rind (grated)
- 2 garlic cloves (minced)
Other:
- 8 cups of cooked pappardelle pasta
Preparation
- Prepare osso buco by combining 1/4 tsp of pepper, flour, and 1/4 tsp of salt into a dish.
- Place veal into the mixture to coat it.
- Heat 1 tsp of butter, 1 tsp of oil in a skillet over medium heat, and place half veal into it. Allow it to cook for 6 minutes.
- Place the veal in an electric slow cooker. Add the remaining oil, and butter into it.
- Add celery and onion into a pan and sauté it for about 5 minutes over medium-high heat.
- Add garlic cloves into the pan and sauté it for 1 minute. Add wine, rosemary, broth, and anchovy paste. Cook it for 4 minutes. Pour the mixture over the veal.
- Cover and cook it for 9 hours on low. Sprinkle it with 1/4 tsp salt and 1/2 tsp pepper and allow it to cool.
- Prepare gremolata by combing lemon rind, parsley, and 2 cloves of garlic.
- Place 1 cup of pasta in eight bowls and add 2/3 cup of veal and 1/2 cup of broth to it.
- Sprinkle the veal with 1 tbsp of gremolata.
