Baked Chicken Teriyaki

Ingredients
- 12 chicken thighs (skinless)
- ¼ teaspoon of ground black pepper
- ½ teaspoon of ground ginger
- 1 minced clove of garlic
- ¼ cup of cider vinegar
- ½ cup of soy sauce
- ½ cup of white sugar
- 1 tablespoon of cold water
- 1 tablespoon of cornstarch
Preparation
- Take a small saucepan and place it on low heat. Combine in it ground black pepper, ginger, garlic, vinegar, soy sauce, sugar, and cold water. Allow it to simmer, stirring frequently, until the sauce thickens and starts to bubble.
- Preheat the oven to 220 degrees C.
- Take a baking dish of 9x13 inches and grease it lightly. Place the chicken pieces in it and brush chicken using sauce. Turn pieces over and brush once more.
- Bake for around 30 minutes. Turn the pieces around and then bake for a further 30 minutes until the juices run clear. Brush every 10 minutes using sauce while cooking.
Pork Loin Chops With Apple Cider Sauce

Ingredients
- ¼ cup of dry sherry
- 1 container of frozen and undiluted apple cider concentrate
- 3 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce
- ½ teaspoon of poultry seasoning
- Garlic powder
- Black pepper
- Seasoning salt
- 4 pork loin chops
- 3 tablespoons of olive oil
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 190 degrees C.
- Take an oven safe and large frying pan and heat olive oil in it using medium high heat. Sprinkle the chops using poultry seasoning, garlic powder, pepper, and salt. Place this in heated oil and brown on both the sides. Drizzle Worcestershire sauce on the chops and pour apple cider in.
- Bake for around 25 minutes. Take the chops and place them in a plate. Keep the frying pan on medium-high heat. Stir the sherry into the pan and boil, stirring frequently, until the sauce thickens. Serve the sauce on top of the chops.
Salsa Chicken

Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons of sour cream
- 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup of salsa
- 4 teaspoons of taco seasoning mix
- 4 boneless and skinless halves of chicken breast
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 190 degrees C.
- Take a baking dish of 9x13 inches, grease it lightly and then place the chicken breasts in it. Sprinkle the taco seasoning on the two sides and then pour salsa on it.
- Bake this for around 25 to 35 minutes until the juices have run clear and the chicken has become tender.
- Sprinkle cheese evenly on the chicken and continue to bake for 3 to 5 minutes until the cheese has become bubbly. Top this using sour cream.
Meatloaf

Ingredients
- 1/3 cup of ketchup
- 2 tablespoons of prepared mustard
- 2 tablespoons of brown sugar
- Pepper and salt
- 1 cup of dried bread crumbs
- 1 cup of milk
- 1 chopped onion
- 1 egg
- 1 ½ pounds of ground beef
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 175 degrees C.
- Take a large bowl and combine in it bread crumbs, milk, onion, egg, and beef. Season this using pepper and salt and place in a loaf pan of 5x9 inches that you have greased lightly.
- Take a small bowl and combine together ketchup, mustard, and brown sugar in it. Mix this well and then pour the mixture on top of the meat loaf.
- Bake this for an hour.
Grilled Salmon

Ingredients
- ¼ cup of vegetable oil
- 1/3 cup of water
- 1/3 cup of brown sugar
- 1/3 cup of soy sauce
- Salt
- Garlic powder
- Lemon pepper
- 1 ½ pounds of salmon fillets
Preparation
- Season the salmon fillets using salt, garlic powder, and lemon pepper.
- Take a small bowl and stir vegetable oil, water, brown sugar, and soy sauce together until the sugar has completely dissolved. Place the fish in a resealable and large plastic bag with soy sauce mixture and then seal it. Refrigerate this for around 2 hours at least.
- Preheat the grill using medium heat.
- Lightly oil the grill grate. Place the salmon on the grill and then discard marinade. Cook this for around 6 to 8 minutes on each side until the fish has become flaky when tested with a fork.
- You can use aluminum foil if you wish to cook the food evenly, keep it moist, and make cleaning up afterward easier.
Chicken Marsala

Ingredients
- ¼ cup of cooking sherry
- ½ cup of marsala wine
- 1 cup of sliced mushrooms
- 4 tablespoons of olive oil
- 4 tablespoons of butter
- 4 boneless and skinless halves of chicken breast that are pounded thick by ¼ inch
- ½ teaspoon of dried oregano
- ¼ teaspoon of ground black pepper
- ½ teaspoon of salt
- ¼ cup of all purpose flour
Preparation
- Take a shallow bowl or dish and mix in the oregano, pepper, salt, and flour together. Coat the chicken pieces using the flour mixture.
- Take a skillet and then melt butter using oil on medium heat. Place the chicken in this pan and brown it lightly. Turn the chicken pieces over and then add mushrooms. Pour the sherry and wine in. Cover the skillet and simmer for around 10 minutes until the juices have run clear. Turn the chicken once.
