Flavorful Turkey Breast

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup of water
- 2 tbsp of olive oil
- 2 tbsp of poultry seasoning
- 8 pounds of turkey with bone
- Kosher salt and black pepper to taste
Preparation
- Wash the turkey, pat it dry, and combine it with black pepper, salt, olive oil, and poultry seasoning in a bowl.
- Use your hands to baste the outside and the inside of the turkey with the herb and oil mixture.
- Pour water into the slow cooker, place the turkey meat side up, cover it, and cook it on low for 6 hours.
- Preheat your oven to broil and place the turkey at the bottom of the rack.
- Let it broil for about 10 minutes and take out the turkey from the over to let to cool for about 20 minutes.
- Slice it and serve.
Butternut Squash Soup

Butternut squash soup is perfect to prepare on a cold and chilly night. You can sit by the fireplace, as your slurp your soup. The butternut squash soup is packed with flavor and will instantly warm your insides.
Ingredients
- 3 packets of frozen and thawed butternut squash
- 3 cups of water
- 2 tbsp of whipping cream
- 2 cups of sweet onion (chopped)
- 2 cups of parsnip (chopped)
- 2 cups of chicken broth (fat-free and low sodium)
- 1/8 tsp of paprika
- 1/8 tsp of ground cumin
- 1/4 tsp of salt
- 1 tsp of black pepper
- 1 1/2 cups of Granny Smith apple (peeled and chopped)
Preparation
- In an electric slow cooker, combine onion, parsnip, apple, salt, black pepper, water, chicken broth, and butternut squash.
- Cover it and cook it on low for about 6 hours.
- Place 1/4 of the mixture into a blender, remove the center piece, and place the lid back on the blender.
- Place a towel on top of the opening, blend, until smooth, and place the mixture into a bowl. Repeat the process with the remainder of the squash mixture.
- Add paprika, whipping cream, and cumin.
- Pour them into bowls and serve.
Chickpea And Vegetable Curry

Ingredients
- 1 can of chickpeas (rinsed and drained)
- 1 can of light coconut milk
- 1 can of vegetable broth
- 1 cup of carrots (sliced)
- 1 cup of frozen green beans
- 1/2 cup of onion (chopped)
- 1/4 cup of basil leaves (shredded)
- 3 cups of cauliflower florets
- 3 tsp of curry powder
Preparation
- In a slow cooker, add chickpeas, cauliflower, green beans, onion, and carrots.
- Add curry and broth next.
- Cover and cook it on low for 6 hours.
- Add in coconut milk and basil leaves.
- Serve with rice.
Pork Char Siu Roast

Ingredients
- 1/4 cup of low-sodium soy sauce
- 1/4 cup of hoisin sauce
- 3 tbsp of ketchup
- 3 tbsp of honey
- 2 tsp of garlic (minced)
- 2 tsp of ginger (grated and peeled)
- 1 tsp of dark sesame oil
- 1/2 tsp of five-spice powder
- 2 lb. of pork shoulder (boneless and trimmed)
- 1/2 cup of chicken broth (fat-free and low-sodium)
Preparation
- In a bowl, combine soy sauce, hoison sauce, ketchup, honey, garlic, ginger, sesame oil, and five-spice powder.
- Use a whisk to stir the ingredients and pour them in a plastic Ziploc bag.
- Place the pork into the bag and marinate it in the fridge for about 2 hours, turning the bag occasionally.
- Place the marinade and the pork in a slow cooker, cover it, and cook it on low for about 8 hours.
- Take out the pork from the slow cooker, place it on a cutting board, and cover it with aluminum foil.
- Pour broth into the slow cooker, cover it, and cook on low for about 30 minutes.
- Use two fork to shred the forks, pour sauce over the dish, and serve.
Cajun Shrimp With Rice

Ingredients
- 2 garlic cloves (chopped)
- 1/4 cup of water
- 1/2 tsp of Cajun seasoning
- 1 packet of wild-rice and long-grain mix
- 1 lb. of cooked shrimp (shelled and deveined)
- 1 cup of onions (chopped)
- 1 cup of green bell pepper (chopped)
- 1 can of tomatoes (diced)
- 1 can of chicken broth
Preparation
- In a slow cooker, place chicken broth, onions, rice mix, Cajun seasoning, water, garlic, bell pepper, and tomatoes along with its juices.
- Cover it and cook on low for about 6 hours.
- Add shrimp into the slow cooker, cover it, and cook for another 15 minutes.
- Sprinkle hot sauce over the shrimp and serve.
Sweet Sesame Chicken

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 tsp of garlic (minced)
- 1 cup of honey
- 1/2 cup of soy sauce (low-sodium)
- 1/2 tsp of sesame oil
- 1/4 cup of barbecue sauce
- 1/4 tsp of crushed red peppers
- 2 1/2 pounds of chicken breasts
- 2 tbsp of olive oil
- 2 tbsp of onion (minced)
- 3 tbsp of cold water
- 3 tbsp of cornstarch
- Green onions (sliced)
- Sesame seeds
Preparation
- Slice the chicken breasts into 1 inch cubes and place them into the slow cooker.
- Combine soy sauce, honey, olive oil, garlic, onion, barbecue sauce, sesame oil, and crushed red pepper in a bowl.
- Pour the mixture on top of the chicken and mix to coat both sides evenly.
- Cook the chicken breasts on low for 4 hours.
- Take out chicken from the slow cooker, leaving some sauce in it.
- In a saucepan, pour the sauce to cook it over medium heat.
- Add water and cornstarch into the saucepan.
- Cook the combined ingredients over medium heat, stirring frequently.
- Remove the saucepan, serve with rice, and garnish with green onions.
Ham And Kale Hocks

Ingredients
- 1/4 tsp of cayenne pepper
- 1 1/2 cups of water
- 5 slices of ham hock
- 1 cup of chicken broth (low sodium)
- 12 cups of torn kale leaves (tough ribs and without stems)
- 2 tbsp of olive oil
- 1 onion (sliced thinly)
- 2 tbsp of apple cider vinegar
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Hot sauce for serving
Preparation
- Place the ham hock in a bowl and drench it in chicken broth and water.
- Cover the bowl and place it in the microwave for 3 minutes.
- Use cooking spray to speak the cavity of the slow cooker.
- Add greens into the slow cooker.
- Place a pan over medium-high heat and add olive oil.
- Add onions and sauté it for about 7 minutes, until golden brown.
- Place the onions into the slow cooker, pour the ham hock mix, and stir.
- Cover it and cook on low for about 8 hours.
- Take out the ham hock from the slow cooker and shred the meat.
- Place the meat back into the slow cooker and throw away the bones and skin.
- Add cider vinegar, salt, black pepper, cayenne, and stir.
- Serve with hot sauce.
