Ingredients

  • Beef steaks, 1 lb
  • Extra virgin olive oil, 2 tbsp
  • Salt, to taste
  • Ground black pepper, to taste
  • 6 garlic cloves, minced
  • 4 bay leaves, chopped
  • 4 scallions, chopped
  • 2 lemons, thinly sliced
  • Vegetable oil, for greasing

Preparation

  1. In a large baking dish, add steaks and season with salt and pepper. Add olive oil and rub to coat.
  2. Sprinkle bay leaves, scallions and garlic on top of the steak and rub to adjust flavors. Cover with lemon slices on all sides.
  3. Cover and marinate for 24 hours in the refrigerator.
  4. To cook, grease the grill with vegetable oil and place the steak on the grill over med-high heat. Grill for 5 minutes per side before flipping it over. Cook until it reaches your desired doneness.

  • Flank steaks (boneless), 6 servings
  • Vegetable oil, ½ cup
  • Lime zest (grated), 1 tsp
  • Lemon zest (grated), 1 tsp
  • Asian fish sauce, 2 tbsp
  • 8 garlic cloves
  • Asian chile sauce, 2 tbsp
  • Cilantro leaves, ¼ cup
  • Basil leaves, ¼ cup
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • Vegetable mix (sautéed), 1 cup for serving

Preparation

  1. Add cilantro, basil, fish sauce, garlic and chili sauce in a food processor. Pulse until chopped and well incorporated. Add lime and lemon zest along with the oil and pulse again to mix well.
  2. Use this marinade to apply on the steaks. Season with salt and pepper. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to up to 24 hours.
  3. To prepare, light a grill and grease with some oil. Place the marinated steaks over med-high heat and cook for 8 minutes on a side before flipping it. The time could vary depending on your desired doneness. When done, transfer to a platter.
  4. Cover with foil and let sit for 5 minutes. Serve warm and juicy with sautéed veggies on the side.

  • 1 green pepper, julienned
  • 1 red pepper, julienned
  • 1 yellow pepper, julienned
  • 1 boneless beef steak (trimmed)
  • 1 small-sized onion, sliced
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • Soy sauce, 3 tbsp
  • Black pepper, ½ tsp
  • Salt, to taste
  • Barbecue sauce, ½ cup
  • Vegetable mix (sautéed), 2 cups for serving
  • Chives (chopped), for topping
  • Cooking spray.

Preparation

  1. Grease a large pan with cooking spray and add peppers and onion. Sauté on med-high heat for 6-8 minutes. When veggies are tender and crisp, transfer to a bowl. Cover and set aside.
  2. Add meat, black pepper, and garlic to the skillet. Cook for 3 minutes and stir occasionally. Cook until meat is browned from all sides. Stir in barbecue sauce and soy sauce. Mix well and continue cooking for 2 minutes. Remove steak and place it on a preheated grill pan.

  • 1 T-bone steak (3” thick)
  • Fresh rosemary (chopped), 1 tbsp
  • Fresh sage leaves (chopped), 1 tbsp
  • Fresh thyme leaves, 1 tbsp
  • Freshly ground black pepper, 2 tbsp
  • Kosher salt, 2 tbsp
  • Extra virgin olive oil, 1 cup
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Spinach (washed, remove stems, spun dry), 4 lb
  • 6 garlic cloves

Preparation

  • Set the grill to preheat med-high setting.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine sage, rosemary, black pepper, thyme, and kosher salt. Mix well.
  • Place steak in a large baking dish and season with this mixture. Rub to coat well.
  • Add olive oil and rub more. Marinate for a few hours if you like.
  • Place on the grill and cook for 12 minutes on one side undisturbed. Flip and continue grilling for another 9 minutes or until it reaches desired doneness.
  • Meanwhile, heat ¼ cup olive oil in a sauté pan. When the oil is hot, add garlic and cook for 3 minutes. Add spinach and stir to mix well. Cook until wilted.
  • Remove from heat and season with salt, pepper and lemon juice.
  • When steak is done, remove and place on a serving platter along with spinach. Drizzle with some olive oil on the top and serve immediately.

  • Sirloin steak, 1 lb
  • Vegetable oil, 1 tbsp
  • Recipe ready mushrooms, 1 bag
  • All-purpose flour, 1 tbsp

Preparation
